As constituents and voters, we are deeply concerned about the Cap and Trade legislation that passed in the House of Representatives and will soon be considered in the United States Senate. The grave impact the legislation will have on our local industries and our state’s economy should be reason enough for you to vote against the legislation. This legislation is also essentially an energy tax on each and every West Virginian. Please vote against any Cap and Trade legislation that would hurt our state!
